Kenton Of The Star Patrol by Wally Wood
A “Kenton Of The Star Patrol” story from Strange Worlds #3 (Avon, May 1951). The Grand Comics Database credits Wally Wood with the pencils and possibly the inks, although the Atomic Surgeons think that Wally only inked the first page, and maybe a bit of page 3, if any. Wally certainly did the splendid pencils and inks for the inside cover (above).
Once again, the wonder that is Atomic Surgery has polished up this tale for your maximum enjoyment.

The Story of Carl Akeley from EC Comics
Carl Ethan Akeley was an American naturalist and explorer who developed the taxidermic method for mounting museum displays to show animals in their natural surroundings. He mounted the skeleton of the famous African elephant Jumbo.
In the 1920's Akeley made a large specimen collection that became part of the American Museum's famous African mammal hall. link
This is his story “authorized, approved and sponsered by the American Museum of Natural History”, produced by EC Comics in 1946!
This story is from the now the forgotten radio show, from the now forgotten comic produced by the legendary EC comics group back when the "E" in "EC" stood for "Education" not "Entertaining". Check out the list of educational consultants.

Brain Boy Battles The Frozen Monster!
One of weirdest attempts ever to create a super-hero by people who had no idea how to go about it. Nice cover painting though.
One again we've clipped out a chunk of the filler to get to the heart of the story - we defy you to notice the missing dozen pages.
